My proudest moment is starting my first business at 21 as an engineering contractor and working in Germany for a blue chip automotive company for 18 months. However, my second proudest moment has to be starting ECO Surv in 2013. I love solving problems and ECO Surv provided a perfect platform to do this!

I’m a fitness obsessive. Anything to do with training or the outdoors, I’m all over. I have done mega bike rides in the past with the best one being London to France for charity. I’ve also taken part in most off road trail running events such as Tough Mudder, the Manchester 10K and the Manchester Half Marathon last year. If there’s a challenge to be done, I’m there!

What are you most proud of?
I have many moments in my life to be proud of; one being my love for new technologies and having the opportunity from the age of 21 to start my first SaaS software company, building it up from a bedroom idea to serving over 100 national customers and the top 10 UK housebuilders. Another proud moment is the excitement ECO Surv brings, building a fantastic team and providing ground-breaking solutions to our users to enjoy.

I love to keep busy, and having two young children this is easy! I spend as much time as possible with my family, walking, biking, going out on family adventures. When I am not with the family, I enjoy keeping up to date on technology forums, getting out on my road bike, keeping active, and seeing friends.

I’d have to say my partner and buying our first home! It was a big milestone in both our lives and we absolutely love our house and all the personal touches we’ve added and projects we’ve completed along the way.

In my spare time, I like to be as active as possible. I enjoy long walks, going to the gym, practicing yoga and also I’m 1/11th of a Bolton League Ladies Rounders team which I’ve been a part of for over 15 years!

I recently became a Dad, which I’m really proud of! I never knew I could love something so much. Although my coffee intake seems to have doubled since the birth.

I like to keep fit and healthy so love going to the gym or getting outdoors. I don’t have as much time for either now I’m a Dad but I still make sure I have some kind of routine and go where I can. I’m also a keen gardener – just as a side note!

I am most proud of my family, and there’s a lot of us! I’m one of ten children and losing my Father when I was eleven meant we had to stick together and with the older ones helping the younger ones, we made a pretty good team. We now all have our own families and have passed onto our children the ethos that you will have to face challenges in life and it is more about how you overcome these challenges by not giving in.

Cycling is one of the things I most enjoy. I am lucky to live on the coast so it is great that I can get out most days and ride along the with some fabulous views of the River Mersey and the Welsh Hills. This is a great way to clear your mind and keep fit at the same time.

Two years ago, my partner and I bought our first house. Since purchasing the property, we have carried out various work to make it our home including fitting a brand new kitchen myself, building a Tiki bar in the back garden and remodelling the loft room into an office and walk-in wardrobe.

While living in North Wales, I took up the hobby of sea fishing. As a child, I used to fish the canals of Rochdale but lost interest as I got older. When comparing the two, I realised that sea fishing is much more entertaining as I get to eat what I catch!

What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of being an uncle. Not yet having children of my own and with both my brother and sister having children, it’s good to see them both happy and great to have new members of the family.

I go fishing quite a lot as this is one of my main hobbies. I like the quiet time and the scenery. I find it relaxing and I tend to switch off from everything whilst I’m there. Catching fish isn’t what is important, it’s more about having those few hours away from everything and switching off that I like.
